Human Powered Vehicle Team Takes State Representative for a Ride

The Ferris State University Human Powered Vehicle team met with State Representative Darwin Booher today to show off last years vehicle and share their plans for this year. The team is the only one to represent a Michigan university or college and took third place in their category in 2009 – their first year of competing.
The competition takes place in the spring. The students involved have to design, manufacture, build and make sure it runs for the event. For information on Ferris’ HPV team, visit their site.
